Campus and Land
Owned Campus Plot size: 500 Ă— 600 sq ft (6.5 acres); duly registered under the Land Registration Act (Reg. No. JUDL16/11/370 dated 04/07/2011).
Reserved Land 11 acres allotted by the Merangkong Village Council for further development and extension of the college campus.
Buildings and Facilities
Main Academic Block RCC building measuring 100 × 118 sq ft with 16 rooms to accommodate classrooms, computer room, library, office rooms, ministerial staff room, faculty room, and students’ union room.
AuditoriumAuditorium-cum-assembly hall constructed.
AmenitiesSufficient playgrounds, toilets, and a separate college canteen.

Need for Students’ Boarding Hostels in the College Campus

Background A majority of Tuli College students come from economically weaker rural families and are unable to afford paying-guest hostels or rented accommodation.
Proposed Initiative Construct hostel buildings to offer free boarding facilities for needy students from rural areas.
Current Challenge The college management is facing serious financial constraints to raise funds for the construction of the hostel buildings.
Action Taken The Board of Governors (Reongdener Molungdok Society) has entrusted Hon’ble MLA Shri A. Panjung Jamir, Advisor, Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Department, Government of Nagaland, to seek financial assistance from central government funds for constructing the students’ boarding hostels at Tuli College campus.
Scheme/Request The Society has requested initiation to approach the Central Government’s Higher Education Department to take over Tuli College under the PM-USHA (New Model Degree College) Scheme through the Hon’ble Minister of Higher Education, Nagaland.
Status All relevant documents relating to the takeover process have been submitted to the Hon’ble Minister of Technical Education, Nagaland, through proper channel.
